Terms & Conditions

Here's the boring, but necessary bit....

PAYMENT

1. Payment must be made in full at the point of sale. 

2. All purchases are non-refundable unless Once Upon a Find is deemed to be at fault.

DELIVERY

3. Delivery of furniture items within the UK is free (subject to note 6 below).

4. Delivery of small homeware items is free and shall be via Royal Mail or Evri. 

5. Once Upon a Find will personally deliver all furniture orders. Due to this, there are some restrictions on locations. Your property must be fully accessible by van and for security reasons I will deliver to your outside front door-step only.

6. I am currently unable to guarantee delivery to the smaller British Islands; Republic of Ireland; Northern Ireland; Cornwall or Scotland. However please contact me with your postcode and the item you are interested in and I will do my very best to accommodate you.

7. Deliveries take place every 6 weeks. 

8. Your delivery date will be advised at least 7 days prior to delivery. 

9. It is the buyers responsibility to ensure someone is at home to accept delivery. If nobody is home, we will leave the item at the front door and provide photographic evidence of delivery.

QUALITY

10. The buyer accepts the item is not a brand new item. Whilst I endeavour to make new all defects, each furniture piece has it's story to tell so may have the odd dink. All openings will operate smoothly and as you would expect for a quality item.

11. Should you have a complaint about an item or the service I provide, please email Once Upon A Find at info@onceuponafind.co.uk within 7 days of receiving your order.

ORDERING & CANCELLATION

12. The buyer has the right to cancel within 14 days. A full refund will be issued within this period should cancellation occur prior to delivery. 

13. Subject to note 12, any cancelled orders which have already been delivered must be returned in their original packaging. It is the buyers responsibility to return the item in it's original condition. Any returns costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

13. All communication must be in English.

14. The contract of sale begins upon issue of the order acknowledgement.
